anyone interested in ATLP exhaust?
ATLP exhaust for 2nd gen TSX
Ok guys ive got good news! I just got off the phone with Mike from ATLP. They are willing to look into our car and possibly build an exhaust if we have enough interest.
If/when they build it there would be different options such as a complete exhaust from the head back, a high flow cat down pipe section, just a cat-back. ect.
how many people would be interested in a complete exhaust or at least high flow dp section?
we need at least 10-15 people. they have been making exhausts for the TL and RDX and have a great sounding system!
they may also develop cf parts for our car later, if there is enough interest, but they want to start with the exhaust.

The answer is yes.
Either a single or a dual... so long as the pipe is at least 2.5" or bigger Internal Diamater, I am hard up for it.

Just FYI folks, we would be handling the group payment and organization on ATLP products, so we can give updates frequently as R&D and production progresses.
We just got done with a 2G TL group buy that went awsome, and have started a 3G TL one as well.

No pics exist nor is pricing avail. But goto heeltoeauto.com and look up atlp parts for benchmark pics and pricing of TL parts.

Yes, i spoke with Mike and this is still just a feeler. meaning, if we get enough interest generated than they will begin to look into and possibly develop the exhaust.
as of right now they focus on 6cyl cars, and the reason they did not make anything for the 1st gen tsx is because they felt there were a lot of other companies making exhausts for the car, so they focused on the TL and TL-s.
their exhausts sound great, and have shown nice numbers on other cars.

So, what does it look like? Between the different forums, are there enough interest to make the company turn out a product?

Hey guys, just checking in. As stated by the OP, we're starting this thread as a feeler to see if there is any interest for this system.
We have not done any systems for 4cyl motors yet, but I know the TSX is dying for some sound. The stock system has no tone/characteristic to it, sadly. Either way I think this part has huge potential! Is this the happening forum, or is the crowd spread between here and Azine?
I'm thinking out loud here but I'm leaning towards a dual system, with either round, or oval tips. I saw the TSX with the single exhaust and to be honest I just don't think it flows well with the overall look and feel of the car?? A well-balanced, aggressive and throaty dual system would give this car a sporty and mature feel, IMO. What do you guys think?

For performance I believe right now it is a bit more on the other forums, for the moment.
I am open to either single or dual, I just want good sound, and better flow right from the head, that piece that mounts to the head just looks as if it has the ability to be replaced by a far more efficient piece of hardware.
