Interior
I tend to agree that the 2nd generation interior does not have as nice of materials as the 1st generation, but it is still quality stuff. As for the softness of the plastic, is that not a good thing? Usually when reviews complain about interiors, they refer to "hard plastics" as a sign of cheapness.
For the interior, I been using Armor All Low Gloss as I do not like my dash to have a lot of glare & look greasy (unlike my tires), however, this makes it hard to see where I have & have not yet wiped so I am probably going to switch to a more regular UV protectant.
As for leather care, I strongly recommend buying premoistened wipes versus creams bc the creams get stuck in the perforations. I use Meguiar's:
Obviously I like to buy over-the-counter stuff that I can find @ Wal-Mart but I am sure that there are better products for more $. The TSX deserves the slightly more expensive stuff like Meguiar's but my new NSX is probably gonna get better products like from the dealership or auto specialty stores.
