Cargo Net

Anybody have the cargo net installed on their 2nd gen?

I had one in my G35 Sedan (came with the car when I bought it) and loved it. I keep a few things in my trunk at all times for work and they slide all over the place back there. So I decided to pick up the cargo net and snatched one off ebay from an Acura dealer. I received it today and went to go install it thinking it would just be a couple hooks to attach it to and done.

Well, I was wrong. It came with a bag full of bolts and hooks and other stuff and you have to install them in all sorts of places which isn't very clear on the "instructions" it came with. The instaructions it came with make the assumption that the hooks are already installed in place and just tells you where to hook then net up to. So if anyone has one installed or installed it themselves, could you take pictures of the attachment points for me? I emailed the seller and am trying to get them to send me the tech's installation instructions from Acura so hopefully they respond with it.

Thanks!

By the way, I posted new pics of the car today after detailing it this past weekend. Check them out...

Nevermind. The dealer emailed me back today and supplied me with the tech's installation instructions. Didn't expect an answer back so soon if at all.

I'm supposed to have a special "rivet nut tool" to install the rivets. Hopefully I can find a way to get them in without this tool.

For the first gen, it was a PITB, needed a hole saw to cut a hole in the trunk liner, secure a hook thru it etc. I didn't even bother; sold the tsx net, and picked up a 350z net, put it in in 30 secs and never looked back

This one was also a PITA. Installed it tonight. You have to drill in 2 holes on top and pop in a rivet nut which is supposed to be used to secure a bolt in place. Well the rivet nut is a piece of shit and you also need a special tool to install it. I'm not paying Acura to install an F-ing cargo net. So I just got some self-drilling screws instead and secured it that way. Plus I hid them out of view a little better.

It's in place now though and works great.
