09 aftermarket support
So i emailed CT (Comptech) engineering about the 2009 TSX and they just replied with some promising news
Hello,
We actually have our 09 TSX in from Acura and are developing parts at this time. We already have a new carbon fiber front grille piece which should be released shortly, and are working on intake, exhaust, and supercharger as well. Please stay tuned to our website for updates and details. Thanks,

How much do chips do for these cars and do they impede on gas mileage much?

If it's the same setup as previous CT SC kits, it was a reflash. No programmable ECU.

A reflash is a good pointer that there will be the ability to modify the ECU in the future.

people interpreted the press release wrong, thats all it is. Acura is decreasing production all around. for example, instead of producing tsx all year round, they are only producing it 4-6 months out of the whole year. they are doing this because the world economy is in recession, so they are trying to cut down their spendings.
in fact, 2nd gen tsx sales are looking pretty good for a time like this, acura seems to be right on target with this car right now. most americans want bigger and bigger cars, more standard features, something around or below 30k, and gets good gas milage. acura is giving people all that with 2nd gen tsx.
