Ok, been driving the car long enough now and here's the deal. My driveway is so steep that when I exit out onto the main drive the rubber/plastic air deflectors that hang from the front are scraping. I don't care one way or the other about these but I'm affraid if I drop it adding a new suspension things will get worse. I would love a set of 20's but the price difference between 20's and 19's is huge once you add in tires, tpms, etc. So if stock is 17", and I throw 19's on there wont they fill the wheel wells more, or does it just lift the car an inch and require you to lower it to make it look better?

fills the wheel wells very well, also raises the car about half an inch but not real noticeable.. I personally lowered my car an inch when i put 19's on it with 35 mm tires this brought it back down to stock height heres a picture.. ]

Stock:

19" Ron Jon Legends Liquid Silver 245/35/19 ( I recommend you got 10 mm thicker then your rim thoguh to protect the rim from most curb damage)

Excellent looking! Great job. I really like the RJ's Legend Type II but the price makes me twitch. I think for me, something for a little less money with a lip. I like these:

::TORK WHEELS::
"Revo" & "Matrix" in hyperblack

Ruff Racing R280 Wheels
"R280" in titanium

R1 RACING WHEELS
"GTR-4" & "Drift" in hyperblack

Of course money ain't growin' on trees up in my neck of the woods so I may have to wait a while. At least till the rubber on the oem's starts to go.

345 each aint bad, but on the RJ site they list for more (is what I was basing it on). Did you have it done local or did you buy a package online? I like the idea of a package but I've only found one place that sells packages that include the tpms ($340. option). What did you do with your stock set-up? I'd like to either wear mine out or sell them before I get over 10k on em'.

What do you think of Vertini wheels (the Sicilian)? Anybody?

I Found these online the other day. I was looking at the 20" x 8.5" and thought, 245/35/ZR20 for the rubber. Are 20's too much to ask for? Are they gonna look too big? Or should I concentrate on 19's? And is it possible to do 19's or 20's without a suspension change? Or will larger (heavier) wheels/tires tear up the stock components if not? Also, I noticed that I can get the Eagle GT in a 225/35R20.

Does anybody know what's the widest tire we can fit on these 09' TSX's?

Of course I still really like the R1 Racing Drift and GTR-4 (in hyper black or gunmetal?).

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
N2O

I like it kbomb! I honestly think the stock wheels are ok (just ok), but a nicer wheel combined with the right tires is what pushes the 09' TSX over the edge. How much drop did you do? I see you're also doing +40 on the offset, right? I'm assuming that when I see the +40 it mean offset?

Yea, I feel like 19's or still, 20's with a lower profile tire would fill the wheel well better without having to "drop" the car and maybe provide a smoother ride on the highway. I'm not opposed to a more sport oriented suspension replacement though. Something to better handle the extra weight during bumpy city driving and help keep the car level in high speed turns. I also think a total of at least 2 more inches wider would help fill things up, but not too wide that the splash guards become ineffective. That's why I like the Racing "Drift" series wheels. They have that extra wide lip that gives the impression of a wider tire without the extra cross-secton width requiring fender modifications. That's completely out of the question unless someone want's to donate the money to me.
