So, like many others I am an owner of a Topspeed header. We all know that flex pipe causes these headers to hiss, and I had mine replaced by a local exhaust shop. 80% of the hiss seemed to disappear but some quiet, deep, whistling hiss was left. So I went to that shop to have my old heatshield welded to RT cat and asked the guy to check if there are any leaks. He observed the system and listened to it and says that there are no leaks and and the sound is generated by the flow of the exhaust gas inside. After he welded the heatshield, he told me that the sound became quieter. I know that a few others had this issue, so what do u all think? Opinions are appreciated.
