My friend has a Type R. He immediately gained 2 whp by removing his plastic manifold cover when he made his dyno run.

Common sense made us figure that the Manifold cover retains heat. It has been stated that K series intake temperatures through the manifold are high, hence the use of the HONDATA INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET by some people. Think about it. If you are boiling Sausage in a Pot on your stover, it will boil faster if you place a lid on top of the pot cuz you are retaining the heat which builds up more and more...

Anyway, jus a little secret i thought i should share with everyone.
