Dont take this so lightly... back in my high school days when i used to street race, my car picked up alot of power with the hood off. intake temperatures really do make a big difference. K-series ECU starts pulling ignition timing around 80 degrees F. Now as for the Manifold cover... i would have to see the dyno graph before i would believe it. Not saying it couldnt happen, but i am a little skeptical about that.
I will post some videos when i get home of my H22 during hot temps and during cold temps so you can see the difference.
