As much as I have enjoyed buying cars when they are brand new, I have to say that they are some of the most piss poor investments I have ever made. I didn't plan on buying a used TSX but I'm glad I did. Buying it used allowed me to pay for it in cash (and to not take such a big hit in depreciation). As exciting as it is to buy that new model when it first comes out, I really don't think I will buy a brand new car again. If nothing else, reading some of the astronomical monthly payments in this thread has strengthened my resolve.
