BTW, there is no point in changing the serpentine belt nor the timing chains unless they are noisy or the belt looks cracked. |
the serpentine belt gets whiny at idle in the rain, which I guess is just some water getting on it -- I really don't want my wife or I stranded 3k miles from home in the summer though.
But definitely the car is running much smoother, if it gets a reaction from the woman (which it did) it can't just be me. Hard to explain since I haven't had an automatic car before, something is just working on it.
