annoying thing is, the steering wheel has that slight pressure to go back to the center position so i have to constantly pull it slightly to the left or counterclockwise.

I feel you. The tires will be ok, it's just the radial ply inside them. They will wear at the same rate, you'll just have that annyoing pull. The good thing is you forget about it after a while so don't stress out.
