Acura RDX?

The girlfriend is looking for a new car and for some reason wants an all wheel drive (maybe the bad winters here lol). I've been trying to convince her to look at the RDX...has anyone here owned an RDX and could give me their impressions of the vehicle?

crappy gas mileage for a 4 cylinder. Styling not up to the Acura standard. Otherwise a reliable, peppy vehicle.

I did hear they were a little hard on fuel. She doesn't go very far though...her Neon is a 2005 and only has 50,000 km.
Thanks for the heads up though

New car and all wheel drive. MS6, EVO, STI, or an Audi.

The MDX is kinda big though, I think a CR-V would be a better choice. The RDX is a gas hog, had a friend buy one new 2 years ago and only 5 months of owning it, trade it for a Honda Fit.

Thanks for all the info guys...it looks like we are going to check out the RDX, CRV and Nissan Rogue this weekend. I'm not a huge fan of the rogue but at least it's better than the Neon she's rolling around in now.
I also like the MDX but it may be a little big for her...

I had one for a rental for a few days. I generally liked it, lots of low end juice, but I think the mid and high end were lacking. The ride seems pretty tight, but I'm not used to driving SUVs, small or otherwise.

I'm pretty sure hondata has something for the RDX, Reflash - Acura RDX. It seems like similar numbers for the TSX reflash.

I've seen the rogue around. It seems like a nice ride. I would recommend a test drive, of course, because brand adherence doesn't always get you the best ride.

And of course, it's for her, so her opinion matters the most.

Good luck, though. I hope you get a good deal on whatever you get.

+1.. i'd choose any honda over a nissan..unless I had enough cash so support the fact that I just want a fast unreliable car that guzzles gas..in that case I can't think of a honda I'd take over something like a GTR, but for anyone that is reasonably responsible with their money, get the honda. the crv will probably cost more than the rogue, but u get what u pay for
