Cool 2010 KIA Forte ~= TSX Compact?

I wonder if KIA Forte stole a page out of Acura TSX... It is strikingly similar to TSX (or maybe just me......)

Kia Cars, SUV, Minivans, & Future Vehicles - Kia Motors America
  • Similar styling (from the front, at least to me... anyone else?)
  • comparable 2.4L engine
  • comparable time for 0-60 (6.3s for AT)
  • comparable comfort features
  • same tire size as 1st gen
  • ~ 2/3 of the price

Yeah the forte looks really similar to the 1G TSX. It looks like the front overhang is slightly shorter. That's why car designs have to evolve - other companies will copy you.

It looks like a Civic. Espescially the 2 door civic. And where did the 6.3 seconds come from. I've read two or so reviews on the kia and I don't think the numbers were that quick.

In the most recent Cnet Car Tech podcast, they said that one of the designers of the 1st gen Audi TT helped to design the Forte.

The picture of the corvette is there because netcarshows doesn't allow hotlinking so it gives a bogus image. Kind of like when you exceed photobucket bandwidth you see an image saying "exceeded bandwidth upgrade to pro" instead.
