Extended warranty refund?

I just got my new 2010 acura tsx today. I later figured out that the manager had tricked me into getting a 70,000/7 year extended warranty for around $1650! Its from acura care, but it costs atleast 1000$ less when done in the acura care website. Basically he was willing to reduce the interest rate by 2.34% if i get the extended warranty and I fell for it

, jumped in too quickly without thinking.

Is there a way to cancel this now? Will I get my money back? The warranty is through the acura care website.

I really wanted the warranty, but not at those prices!

Yeash, you basically signed the contract when you opt for the extended warranty. I don't know how you can work this out. I would say talk to the manager about it but i think 99% he will beat around the bush with you and not give you the money back. He is not obligated to give you a refund since it was in writing and you signed it.

Are you sure it's the EXACT same warranty on the website?

hmm.. when i bought my acura from a honda dealership, i also fell for the extended warranty. i went back about a month later and asked for a refund on the warranty, and they did it for me. this is hondacare, however, so i don't know if it works differently.

note: even though i canceled the warranty, it took about a whole month to process it, and then another month for a check mailed to me... so basically they canceled the warranty when it got processed, which is bs.

they should...if not threaten them with taking the car back.... i was told by the sales person that i have 30 days to bring back the car if i wasnt satisfied....goodluck

Yep. They finally agreed to give it to me for the same price as whats on the http://www.curryacuracare.com website, and at the same lower interest rate too. He kept saying that the one offered online, is not genuine acura approved warranty - whatever that means. As far as I understood both are by acura care. Also I have the option of cancellign it anytime with in 60 days of purchase and get the full refund - provided I havent made use of any of their service. If I made use of the service then I would be refunded at a prorated rate. The same goes after 60 days as well.
