How many keys came with the TSX?

when i bought my car from the dealer(2006 TSX auto) i only got 1 remote key, i want to know if you guys had 2 remote keys that came with the car or did i got ripped off?

EDIT: Ok, wife went to the dealer and they have my second key. problem solved, and i waited 2 months before calling them. thanks you guys.

i had 3, 2 were remotes and other one was a valet key but i also bought it new. i think u got ripped!!!

My 07 came with 3 keys and two fobs(2 regular black keys, 1 gray machanic key)

oh my god, i really did got ripped!! :'(

i know its a little too late to ask them, but is there any way i can go tell them they only gave me 1 remote key.. dammit!! >_<

im not even home! and i got the car like almost 2 months ago..

I got my car CPO but I still got two remotes, two keys and one valet key. I'd say you can ask them, especially if it's an acura dealer they may do it just in hopes of you coming there for servicing. But the fact that it's been two months makes me think you're out of luck..

i see... well ill ask for the extra remote key then, i wonder if its sitting collecting dust somewhere around that acura dealer. i dont know, but it doesnt hurt to ask for the extra one that we were suppose to have, ill provide an update on here once this issue gets taken care of. hopefully nobody else has the same problem as i had..

to be completely honest, i was in your situation with my last car purchase.. i bought a nissan from a pontiac dealer and got only one key..

Sounds like you have the same (or similar) problem that I faced. I bought my TSX less than two weeks ago. It's an 04 so obviously it is used. I only got two keys, one black one with the remote fob and the gray valet key. Being a long time driver of Hondas I knew I should have gotten two black keys. The problem is I purchased my car from a Dodge dealership and they had no idea what may have become of the missing key. It just didn't sit well with me that somewhere out there somebody probably had my other key. So I took my car to the Acura dealership and they not only made another key for me but they also reprogrammed the keys so that only those keys will start the car. If someone were to try starting it with the old missing key, it would not work. Ain't technology grand?

Oh, I also had an aftermarket alarm system installed so whoever has the other Fob can no longer gain entry to my car.

No..I was just really careful with the key to make sure I didn't lock it in the car or lose it..the key was over $200 from Nissan and the key fob wasn't included.

my car was an cpo'd car. the sales guy was a jerk and was only going to give me one key/fob. but i did my research and even on acura's website, it states that all cpo cars come with 2 keys/fobs and 1 valet key.

if i were you i'd get what belongs to you. those keys aren't cheap!

I got 1 key and 1 remote at the time of the deal on my CPO, the dealer was trying to get me to give in saying I wouldn't get an extra key at my negotiated price...typical sales stuff. A couple days later they "somehow" found the other key and remote lol.
