Has anyone thought about putting sidemarkers on our TSeXes?
I am talking about the sidemarkers from the 2004-2008 Tl's? I think it would look great because our cars and the TL are very alike in style. Can anyone do a photoshop of this, to see how it would look?

Thanks!!!!!

hey everyone so i have a really annoying problem. my 2005 tsx has a short somewhere in the parking light circuit which goes from front side parking lights all the way to the tails and control the stereo back light buttons inside. thus, i have no tail lights and that makes night driving dangerous and im pretty sure against the law!

-i have already checked all bulb sockets byremoving them and seeing if the circuit still shorts and yes, it does so it has to be somewhere along the wire path

-i have installed the DIY footwell LEDs which tap into the same power source that the short circuit is connected to. i have gone through all the wiring and see no evidence of the problem here. i even rewired everything and still have a short somewhere.

anyone in the boston metro/MA area that is good at this type of electrical stuff? im not the best at it and could really use the help. i refuse to go to the dealer because this is something that should be simple as its a short somewhere only in this circuit (everything else works fine) and i know they will rape me on labor charges that they will claim took them forever to find the exact problem. i am out of warranty by a few months.

any help/info/insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hello all,

This is my first post. I've done some searching already on the forum (search button) and i haven't been able to find a fix yet and i wanted to make sure i wasn't missing something.

I have a 2004 TSX 87,000 Miles. (no navi/xm) just you base 6 Disc Player.

I picked up the car a few months ago from a Saturn dealer for a great price. everything was working great and I love the car.

However about 2 weeks ago i got into the car to head to the store. It was dark out and i flipped on the head lights. After a few minutes of driving i realized the interior of the car was pretty dark.

My gauge cluster was working as were my lights on the left side of my shifter. However the back light buttons on my AC/Heater and my Radio/CD Head unit are all off.

My Radio/CD unit display is working as is the AC/Heater display. Only the physical buttons are not lighting up.

First thing i thought was a fuse... all the fuses look fine.

Today I went to the dealer to see if this was covered under the service bulletin i read about.... unfortunately because my radio and AC "displays" are still working Acura told me I am SOL. They also didn't offer any alternatives other than lets put your car under diagnostic for 4 hours and charge you $85 per hour and we "may figure it out"

There must be some way of fixing this with out having to mortgage my house to the Acura Dealer.

If you have any threads that I haven't come up with my my search i'd appreciated it. Also if you have any idea's, thoughts, fixes, ect.... i appreciate it as well.

If need be i can take some pictures of the issue at night to show every one what exactly i am talking about.

Thank you,
Matt

i read lots of threads about purchasing the audio output, but many of them bought the wrong one. i also got trouble and confused...

read threads, and said it should be bought from this website, and it costs less. LOGJAM ELECTRONICS.COM - "Connecting You To Your Music! " Your Source for all your Interface Needs

my fd bought one from blitzsafe, V2, but he said thats the wrong one. V1 is the right one. i know one of these two comes with 14 pin, but im not sure 04 w/nav is 14-or 20-pin. he called customer service, and they said to him was that blizasafe has no product that fit with tsx. im just curious, since i knew someone install blitzsafe for audio from this website.

i went to the audio store and asked them, they said the oem cd changer will not work anymore after installing the audio output. I hv'nt heard that b4, so, it this true for those of you who alrdy done?

i dont use ipod or mp3 player,i only need the output which has the red and white plug, and i want to install it behind the box. (not in the truck). plz help....
