I just got my new/used 05 Greyish Blue Metallic, tinted, spoiler - I love this car, gonna put up some pics soon.

I traded in my bastardized 02 nissan altima... this car had way too many "common" engine and body problems, so I did a ton of online research and learned that the TSX is a - not only reliable - but a really great ride, and I fell in head-over-heels right away.

Before this I had a hand-me-down '96 Accord so I'm loving the new car... everything about it is a step-up in comfort and quality as my daily driver. I've always been a honda/acura guy and even helped my mom buy an '05 RL :).

Anyway I recently changed out the tires (70k miles and still had stock Michelins) to Dunlop SP sports, clay bar'd and did some blue led footwell lights. My next mod will be installing a reverse camera thanks to the DIY section for inspiring me :).

I had it for a very short period of time because I was paranoid about everything that can go wrong on those cars. I always consider myself a honda lover at heart - I just love how honda usually does things right....

So I got an 04 tsx, 6spd, 70k miles, white, aspec kit, TL wheels. The car has H&R sports on the factory shocks, the ride isn't too bad, a little bouncy - I plan to add koni's. I'm actually amazed how well the car handles - it is reallllllly good. The car also has a K&N cold air, professionally tinted tails, and a custom exhaust. I'd rather have the stock exhaust, but the one now has silencers in so its not loud (I just would rather have the look of stock). I also don't like tinted tails, so I'd love to find a tsx owner with stock tail lights to trade me :)

The car drives really good around town, I'm amazed how effortless shifting and getting up to speed is in the tsx... ahhh the joys of a honda trans again. The clutch pedal squeaks/clicks - common problem I've read. The center dash console lights are out - gonna take it to acura and have them replace it under warranty. I am seeing pretty reasonable prices and shipping is only $1950 to get it here.

I have researched alot of TSX parts since the Accord(k24a4) is very very similiar.
What car out there comes with all the mugen parts? the mugen inspire???
I see the mugen intake is like $1200
mugen headers are like $1800 Lip kit packages + paint are well over $1000

doesnt it just make sense to buy a stock car that has all this stuff done to it? IMHO i would much rather spend the cash and have it come that way and done profressionally.
