Last year I purchased a set of used RSX-S 16" alloys to use as my winter set of rims. I had 205/60/16 Nord Frost 5 tires installed.

On occasion I hear somewhat of a clunk when going over very tall speed bumps... and very drastic holes in the pavement.

I inspected the rim & tire well and I could not see anywhere that the rims was making contact. I asked my mechanic about this, and he seems to think that the high offset of the RSX-S rims are causing the problem.

On the weekend, when I re-mounted my winters I compared the OE wheel/tire to the winter package and noticed that the tire side wall doesn't quite tuck under the wheel well. I'm assuming that the high offset is pushing the tire too far outside.

I'm now pretty sure that this is the cause of the noise. My questions are...

Should I be concerned about the occasional contact of the tire with the wheel well lip?

I know tons of guys that are lowered get the occasional rub due to their extremely low clearence. (my car is not lowered and prob the only reason why its not causing more issues).

If I were to go with another honda alloy... if I went with the Accord V6 16" alloy wheel.. does that have the right offset that I need?

I have a NHB TSX and right now im going for the Chrome look, i no most people dont like it but I do. anyway these are the rims i am looking at...ASA AR9 With Spoke Inserts Machined w/Black Accent
They are 18inch with 45mm offset. I plan on running them with the CF insert and my question is is it possible to get just the machine metal part chromed?
if so how much would this cost?
That way it would give me a black and chrome look
thats what im really going for
If its not possible let me no if you all have some ideas on this or ideas on some wheels?
help me out if you can..

thanks alot guys all feedback is accepted positive and negative

So I'm on the fence about the GPs because I just came across a local sale for RonJon Inspyres in 19". I know the Mugens are better quality, lighter and worth more, but I'm not too sure about the design. I like the RonJon design a bit more, but I know they're much heavier (~22-23lbs for 18s, even more for 19s), not forged, and not in the same league as mugen wheels, plus I've seen some pretty nasty pictures of RJ wheels after a collision. The deal on the RJ doesn't specify a size, I can get 18 or 19 for the same price in hyper silver, machined black or chrome. I would be leaning towards 19s in hyper silver or machined black, the set of rims comes to $1100

Looking for some of your opinions on this choice, but for some reason I feel most people will be leaning toward the Mugens.

Again, these are going on my 06 pwp, thanks for any input you guys can provide..

Since shipping was 130, I decided to drive to Vegas and picked these up from Orange County. Since 55 dollars of gas was needed to get these wheels, I didn't want to pay for shipping. Any ways, these guys only have six left since I bought one off their hands and not through eBay. I am not affiliated with them. It's just these guys were very nice to me with the sale. One of them tried to charge me tax but another guy wiped it off. These guys are located in Las Vegas. Here is the eBay link.

Need some opinions, my cousin needs a new set of all-seasons for her TSX as her OEM tires are all done.

Any suggestions on what you think are the best all-seasons?

P.S. how well do all-seasons handle in the winter? She wants to skip getting winters and just go with brand new all-seasons.
