I am selling my 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro with 50,000 miles and looking to buy either a Lexus IS300 or a Acura TSX. The idea behind this is to keep my maintenance and repair costs down and to improve gas mileage. I am at a point in my life where I need to focus on keeping costs down not only now but for the future.

To start off I would like to get to know the reliability of a TSX the different trim levels and packages, common problems, and price I should be willing to pay for a 2004-2005 with around 50,000 miles. I have owned BMW's and this was my first Audi. I am a huge BMW fan, wasnt all that impressed with the Audi. My brother just bought an IS300 and although its kind of small I like it alot. I don't much experience with Acura although my whole family has owned MANY hondas and have never ever had an issue. So with that being said let me get educated!

BTW Im looking to stay below $14,000 and 60k - I know it sounds like a fantasy but I have a knack for finding deals lol

I was driving on the highway this weekend around 11am, from dropping off a friend. It wasn’t the nicest day to be driving in the morning. The sun was no where insight and the rain didn’t help either, but I didn’t care I was in my Sexy TSX until kaboom pow right on the windshield, a F'en pebble came from hell to crack my windshield. You should have seen my eyes start to tear up. (My baby). So anyways I took it to a local windshield replacement shop (asap) and they said that they don't fix chipped windshields. Then the women mention something about Safelite and that they were able to repair cracked windshields. O thank god, I don’t have to waste over 200 bucks for a stupid chipped windshield (meaning I would have to replace the whole windshield). So I looked up the number to safelite and had an appointment within 15 mins of calling. They had to call my insurance company (Progressive) and to no charge to me, (I have full coverage) the chip was fix. Now it just looks like a really, really small bug spattered on my windshield. The fix has a lifetime warranty and it didn’t take no more then 45mins to fix the crack or chip however you prefer to call it.

Hi guys! I'm new to the forums, and joined especially to ask this question.

I was at FutureShop (BestBuy) today to see how I can best integrade my iPod to the factory installed stereo in my car.

Came across this iSimple and on the inside panel it says that it is not useable for a 2004 TSX. I have a Canadian vehicle. I was suprised, it had 2005-2008 TSX on there and 2004-2008 TL on there, but *not* the 2004 TSX.

Are they bluffing? Is there some little modification that can be done that can make this compatible?

Or, do you guys just suggest getting another portability module? I'm getting a nice deal on this iSimple module with installation included so would really like to figure out a way for this to work.

*ANY* advice would be really appreciated - I really want to get this working soon.

Thanks a lot everyone!
