When the car is warm and i accelerate i hear what sounds like air rushing or another way to describe it is if your driving over water, that kind of sound. As soon as i take my foot off the gas the sound is gone. If i just rest my foot on the gas lightly i cant hear... this started just recently.

After I popped the hood open and started rocking the car back and forth, by pushing it with my hands, (from the front) i can clearly hear water splashing from the engine. Is this normal? Its the first time i've ever heard this noise.

Anyways I tried looking on online and some people were saying that its the gas fuel splashing around and others say its the coolant.

Anyone have any idea what it is?



Another noise that I'm starting to hear is when i quickly depress the gas pedal from any gear during cruising (except 1st cuz the engines a little too loud) i hear a loud rattling noise for about a second after I accelerate. I thought it was some loose panel under the steering wheel so everytime i was trying to reenact the noise i held onto a different part of that area. The car belongs to my parents, and they rarely drive it. In fact, I put on the last 5k miles in the past 3 months! I first noticed this noise when I started borrowing it...3 months ago, with only 3k on the odometer.

Now, i thought that was it until i get into the car this morning to go to work and notice that the clock is flashing. I try and set the clock and nothing is working. Then turn the radio on and all it says is CODE, no matter what i press it just says error or code.

Any clues?

I've got Tein SS coilovers with an ingalls camber kit. I brought my car in to my mechanic and they suggested that ingalls camber kits are notoriously loud, and that if I replaced it with a SPC kit it'd make it better, is this true? Or is there something else about my setup that we're missing as the culprit?

I purchased a pre-oiled K&N Drop in filter and I completely removed the stock resonator at the same time. I notice a very small difference in throttle response but my gas mileage has gone down. Consequentially I have actually been driving almost all city miles as well so its tough for me to tell. Anyone getting 19 MPG doing mostly city driving? It seems low to me.

I'm not to worried about anything accept getting the window replaced and re-tinted.

I'm assuming like the windshield, I can purchase a factory window from Acura right? Since this is probably going to be more expensive than to just go to any glass replacement company, can someone tell me if its worth it?

I've always heard that the factory glass is stronger but does it make a huge difference? Also, does anyone know the price difference?

Last question...Does anyone know how much it would cost to get one window tinted?

It seems to be when car shifts into second its a faint sound almost like a whine, then when it shifts into third it gets a little louder whining sound. Once it goes to fourth I can't hear it???? It does it both in auto or sportshift mode only 2nd and 3rd it seems to be. The tranny shifts fine without any jerks at all. Any ideas??
