TOTM Candidate Sign-In!

PLEASE READ THE BELOW BEFORE MAKING POSTS IN THIS THREAD:

If you plan on running for TOTM:

1) Please make sure you have read the TOTM Standards and fulfill the requirements (post a variety of decent pics of your car, a full modlist, and a poll asking if your car is worthy of TOTM for the month you're competing in) before posting your info.

2) Please add a short post into this thread that will contain:

-Your Name
-Your Main Thread LINK.

You can add other links if you wish, but it's not necessary. You can keep links to your other threads in your Main Thread.

This will help us keep track of all the candidates and will help us choose a deserving TOTM by members' choice. The voting will take place in your Main Threads, based on the polls you will have created there. If there is no suitable TOTM candidate signed-in during a time period, then there simply will be no TOTM for that month or we'll select the most recent runner-up from the previous months.

If there is at least one candidate, whoever fulfills all the requirements and has the best positive vote ratio (percentage of positive votes in relation to the total number of voters in the poll) in their poll will become the TOTM of that month, when that month ends. If there is only a single competitor, he will become TOTM only if the total of "YES" votes in his poll outweighs the "NO" votes.

The reason for this thread is to keep track of candidates who fulfill the requirements. Having that said, we need to keep this thread clean of idle talk, or it will soon become very long and hard to track. So, PLEASE, DO NOT POST ANYTHING HERE OTHER THAN YOUR OWN CANDIDACY.

Your Sign-In post will be removed from this thread only if it fits one of the below conditions:
1) You win TOTM
2) The link to your Main Thread competing for the current month is dead or outdated
3) If we find that you stopped participating in our forum for over a month
4) If you loose interest and request to be removed

To attain best exposure it is up to each candidate to promote his own car, his threads, and collect as many positive votes from forum members as possible. Some of the factors that may help with public interest and positive feedback is creating a well designed Main Thread, posting a lot of nice pictures, and actively participating on the forum. Of course, the car itself is most important

Please see the below statistics for winning results for March 1.

Looking at the below results we can clearly see that based on the number of positive votes (Place / Votes) Damon (IntegraGSR23) is the clear winner for February 2009.

However, it's important to note that in the past we have never taken into account the number of voters participating in each poll. On one hand it made the competition easier. On another, it made it less fair to those who joined in later and had a shorter time of exposure. To remedy this, we will make few changes in the TOTM process which will be updated in the Rules thread and in the first post of this thread later today. The main change however will be the change in the winning decision which from now will be based not on the total number of positive votes, but on the ratio of positive votes in relation to the total number of voters in the poll. This should also improve participation, since now each vote will count.

In light of the above update, if we look at the below winner stats, it's clear that based on the ratio of positive votes in relation to the total number of voters (Place / Ratio) Monica (LiLaSiiAn8) is the clear winner in this competition. To balance this transition in rules and retain fairness, we're acknowledging Monica's winning by selecting her as the TOTM for March 2009.
