yup...glad I didn't drive out for a flop. I was afraid that was gonna happen. not worth the hour drive. definitely need to have a better meet asap. hopefully around the north suburbs

well, as bad as i wanted to come, im kinda glad i didnt, considering only 3 people (3 cars?) showed up.

jdmtsx08, at around 3:30ish-4pm... i was heading south on 294, and saw three TSX's heading north. Was that you guys by any chance??

Sad to hear it didn't work out. I had just gotten back into town during this and glanced at the boards and quickly realized people were bailing. Hopefully someone can reboot this and make it happen. However, if everyone just second guesses at the last minute, it will never work. I know this from setting up similar meets years ago on h-t and so on.

The silver one is Chicago's. Sick ride, BBS LM's dumped. Mine was the NPB one. On a funny note, as Chicago and I were sitting at burr oak woods, we saw two guys go into the same portajohn and one guy came walking out all funny and limping...

I'll post the four photos that I took of our mini meet. Thanks to chicago, jdmtsx08 and his buddy for showing up. That was quite a drive for a pretty crappy turn out. I'll probably hold off on these meets until there are more finalized attendence lists. See photos below, sorry jdmtsx08, wasn't able to get a photo of yours.











I am thinking of having a tech day at my place or somewhere near by to do final maintenance before the winter. I need to swap out my brakes, run some seafoam, and just get the car cleaned and waxed for the upcoming winter. having tech days instead of just meets might help the attendence levels and there's only so much standing around a parking lot staring at people's cars that I can take. Actually, if people are still going to do the Gurnee Meet, I have access to a house w/ a decent size garage if people have work they need done, in Lindenhurst, about 5-10 minute drive to Gurnee Mills. Let me know if anyone is interested.
