all i gotta say is call up the shop and speak to them yourself i'm gonna just end it right here and leave it as is. i say you call up the shop and let them explain it to you, they do have the information available as well as the turbo kit on sale.

510 whp @ 20psi. so i was off by 10whp my bad lol. sorry for the language i apologise to you all. later i will post up the dyno results when i get time i'll be in school till midnight tonight so i'll maybe end up doing it tomorrow.

you wernt off by 10 hp.. u were off by 300?

internet racing ftl. you need to learn how to take things in stride. there was no real reason for you to get so angry in the first place.

wow....so you can make 510whp on stock internals from a K20in the Civic Si with just a simple turbo kit?? wow... I don't know much about FI but damn, that's some crazy numbers

ya man...

we both agree it's turbo'd...

but sadly, probably not something measily tsx owners like us can get our hands on...

if you have the money, I can help you out to get your car turbo'd other than that dont even bother asking. No point on asking if you dont have the money. Correction is you'll lose your cluster items and i forget something else while running with k-pro

sorry there i was talkin bout 2 cars this is just one. the other you'll have to wait to get my boy who owns the other is currently serving a tour in Iraq with his fellow Marines. but if this is a fully stock motor doing 510whp and his is built dont you think in any way that this is possible!? i tried to obtain the dyno copy today but his father doesn't know where he has all that stuff.

510 on stock internals is damn impressive. I wonder how long the stock internals will be able to withstand that kind of stress before they have to be replaced. Either way that is badass!

I've followed the whole thread and I'm w/ hyun, I won't believe anything (about the 800+whp K20/K24 setup) until I see some dyno #s.

Even if you can proof it, so what? # are just #, how "drivable" are they?

A 800+whp FWD will still get Fxxk by a 600+whp RWD in a limited space drag race or they can't even track and out corner any other cars just because of the traction. Period.

But I will +REP for you when you post the dyno..... waiting....

were talking about whp also btw. 800 whp. im trying to think of ANY k24/k20 set up that i have read about that is on a new gen civic si and i cant think of any. im on honda-tech and other honda/acura forums all day at work when its slow and i only know of a few and those are drag cars built by tuners.

you know its not too late to just admit that either you or your friend was lying. we're all friends here.

but i want to hear that i was right :p

well its about a year and a half its been on boost without a single problem yet and about 8months i'd say running on 20psi daily driven.

daicacharco i dont believe that its making 450+ hp on stock internals.
i'm getting a copy of the dyno on this civic as well in the mean time. its hard to believe i know but yes its whp and this is the power of the K-Series.

wow! that is a badass car.

those flared fenders looked familiar,
this is how the car looked like last year at SEMA...

that is me standing there by the front fender, taken at sema last year:)

I find that so funny:)

haha, i took that shot really quick before i left SEMA.

haha, crazy coincidence

nice car.. but what i can say is this.. that car is a show car so most likely the car dont even turns on...

and about making power with a k20 head well is possible because around my way there is a lot of turner shop and i seen a couple of civics with k20 type R motors or a k24/20 and i tell u them shit are stupid fast
Ummm.. Sorry to tell you but I've seen this car in the past when it was white and now thats it's BURGUNDY or whatever you want to call it.. The car was driven time in and time out of the track. It was present yesterday at the FINAL TRACK DAY of IDRC events for the season.. SOunds pretty damn boosted to me. oooo4

hyun what are you still doing here on this website ? didnt u bash everyone on this site with your own thread last week talking about f@#$ us all?..yea remember that?

^ yeah if u kept reading u would have found out it was my co worker who posted that lol. i stole his 1000th post on vwvortex by posting something along the lines of "vw's are euro trash hondas > vw" or something stupid like that haha

i love my tsx :]

510whp on stock internals in next to impossible and border line idiotic imo. I've been working on Honda's for quite awhile and 20lbs of boost on stock K-series internals is far fetched. I've had a few friends who blew their engines thinking they could boost their engines(stock) past the norm and immediately blew their engines on the dyno getting it tuned. I know the K20/24 is a pretty stout engine as is but its not designed to handle that much internal stress. Based on my experience with Honda's, no Honda engine is more stout than the B series and the B series can't handle more than 10-15lbs on stock internals even with a good tune. Having been a part of a couple of K20 turbo builds in the past, 510whp on stock internals is a lie. And especially at 20lbs daily driven. I don't care how good the tune is, and even using ultra high octane race gas 95 and up octane it didn't happen. The stock C/R of a k20 or even a K24 is too high to run 20lbs of boost. I've witnessed few stock engines blow even when running on VP 110 leaded race gas and 95octane/toulene mixtures.
